Penney Muskopf, a certified surgery assistant and medical assistant, has been a key member of Dr. David Brown's staff since 2001. Whether educating patients on the surgical procedures they will be undergoing, or taking after-hour phone calls to address their post-surgery concerns, Penney is known for making each of her patients comfortable and valued — from the time they undergo their initial evaluation until the time they are fully recovered.

Penney has worked in healthcare since 1996, including five years serving physical and occupational therapy patients at the Missouri Bone & Joint Center. Penney received an associate's degree in Applied Science for Physical Therapy and is certified and licensed as a Surgical First Assistant.

Married and the mother of two boys and a girl, Penney enjoys watching her children's outdoor sporting activities and indulging her passion for photography. Her patients' comfort is among her top priorities.

Bridget Squires
Medical Assistant

Bridget Squires has served as a medical assistant in Dr. Brown's office since 2006. Responsible for coordinating patient tests, appointments and surgical procedures, she is known by our patients for her patience and her skill in understanding and attending to their needs.

Prior to joining Dr. Brown's practice, Bridget spent 10 years as a medical assistant in a colon and rectal surgery practice, where she first developed her ability to help patients feel relaxed and comfortable prior to treatment.

Bridget received her training through the two-year Medical Assistant Program at St. Louis Community College at Meramec. She and her husband are parents of two girls. In her free time, she and her family enjoy hiking, picnics and other outdoor activities.
